An identity for a new retail space that celebrates a love of fibrecraft along with the diversity of crafters
A shop for colourful yarns
Joy of Yarn is a wool-fibre retail space in Greytown in the Wairarapa. It supplies 100% New Zealand hand-dyed wool and craft supplies.
The colourful and fun style for this fibre-craft business includes packaging, illustrations for the various product ranges and secondary graphic elements to promote future craft events hosted in the region.

Exterior signage and window decals
To suit the style of this retail space, diecut vinyl decals of scaled-up knitting stitches border the three front windows. A design visual and a guide for a printer are crucial for getting signage at the correct scale for the spaces it is applied.
Illustrations for product categories
Joy of Yarn required a way of labelling their various yarn product categories and the owner was keen to have an illustrated style to show where the yarn was from. The products were also colour-coded to make them easy to distinguish.
A range of these linear illustrations have been created to use across packaging, promotional items and social media posts.
